Senior Assisted Living Is a Culmination of Ethical Responsibilities

The old age comes last in our life cycle of birth, childhood, boyhood, youth, and old age. It is the time when the beauty of our life is taken mostly, and we are left with nothing but the hardship of living. This time men sometimes stand as barrier in the way of younger people who are in the race of earning a better livelihood and full of future dreams. They fall in dilemma about the care of their elders. They cannot leave them and at the same they are worried about who will take care of them while they are alone in the home. That is why the elder care centers have come into being.

The basis on which such a center is established is independence and respect. After living a life of independence and respect it is undesirable that one will be confined to a room. At senior assisted living center the residents are free to go out and return at their will. They will get the proper help needed for taking medicine, bathing, dressing, undressing, and going to visit a place of interest. They will be served food at the place of their choice. At these centers there are community spaces for meeting one another, for playing cards, for watching television. Sending a family member to such center, the other family members will live happily without tension for the proper care of the aged member.

Our ethical education instructs us to take care of our elders who have devoted their lives for the well being of younger persons. In the U.S. there are many elder care centers. More particularly New Jersey has become famous for this type of centers. One of the few best centers here is the Sunflower. The name of this center will come first whenever there is a mention of adult day care new jersey.
